IAML launch new website

Chapter EightThe search engine optimised, standards compliant IAML website.

How do you get 300 lawyers to meet at the same place at the same time?

No, this isn't a joke - it was a serious question posed by The International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (IAML). Co-ordinating the annual convention for this worldwide association of expert family law specialists is no small feat. Which is where a website designed, developed and managed by Chapter Eight comes into its own.

And a Papal Blessing in-between

Lawyers attending the IAML European Chapter's 2008 event in Rome couldn't be kept waiting for the conference programme or itinerary to be sent out by post to be kept up-to-date.

All of the support information required needed to be available online: from a downloadable restaurant guide to Rome, to details of hotels and a mouth-watering programme of dining, culture and shopping and even the chance to attend a Papal Blessing. (Plus some serious conferencing.)

Lawyers log-in from Naples to New York

A resource-led website, IAML Fellows can access an information vault via a log-in, whilst non-members can access the wide information resource via a powerful search facility. Clients can find a lawyer by name, country, or by language spoken - from Naples to New York, from Los Angeles to London. (Unless they happen to be in Rome.)

The website isn't just about organising conferences, its a permanent resource designed to allow IAML Fellows to keep in touch with each using the World Wide Web.
